About PSE

PSE debuted on September 27, 2025 as a West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North-run math and STEM showcase at Community Middle School, pairing an original contest with immersive sessions.

What you can expect

  • Grade-specific math competition packed with original problems.
  • Session with Guest Speaker Professor Po-Shen Loh for parents and students.
  • Hands-on STEM workshops (including Rubik's cubes, cryptography, and Math bowl!) led by high school mentors.
  • Prizes, medals, and recognition for top scorers.

Who can participate?

PSE welcomes students in grades 3-8. Each grade competes within its own division to keep the experience fair and fun.

What's the event schedule?

The full agenda, including the competition block, workshops, and keynote session, is available in the schedule section above.

How do I register?

Registration for 2025 is closed, but you can visit the registration page to join the interest list and get notified when 2026 details go live.

Do parents need to stay?

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend Po-Shen Loh's talk and support their students, but on-site supervision is provided throughout the day.

Are there team events?

PSE 2025 focuses on individual competition. Collaborative workshops and networking opportunities round out the experience.

What should students bring?

Bring pencils, a notebook, and enthusiasm. Calculators are not required. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
